APRASYMAS

Knyga "Kai mūzos mirsta" - tai Gabrieles Dabasinskaites 41 grafikos piesinių bei 51 eilerasčių rinkinys. Knyga sudaryta is dviejų dalių 39 lietuviskų eilerasčių ir 12 angliskai parasytų eilerasčių.

Sis projektas truko tris metus.

Gabriele Dabasinskaite sako: " As pazadinau savo vidinę "As".

DESCRIPTION

The book " Kai mūzos mirsta" ( "When muses are dying") - is Gabriele Dabasinskaite's 41 graphic drawings and 51 poems collection. This book includes two parts: 39 Lithuanian poems and 12 English language poems.

This project took 3 years to be created. First Gabriele's drawings originally were created for an Exhibition "Search Of The Inner Child" in 2022, which took place in the Lithuanian World Center, "Soul" gallery in Lemont. But later on Gabriele created poems for each of her drawings and that's how the collection "When muses are dying" was born.

Gabriele's artistic style is very unique, mystical and secretive. Drawings hold lots of symbolic elements, lots of details, inspired by Lithuanian folklore, Paganism, Greek mythology as well as zodiac characters. The author also loves "mandala" inspiration. Mandalas have a special place in her heart and creating them has been a long journey for over a decade. A glimpse is not enough to see Gabriele's drawing. Every time you will see something you didn't see the first time.

This book is a beautiful unique gift, for a person who is a little bit different, who loves arts and poetry. Or it may be for someone going through some kind of hurtful change in his/her life.

The main idea for this book's name "When muses are dying," came from lost love. People who came to your life, left a deep mark in your heart, opened up your creativity, but they not there anymore. This book is like saying goodbye to your past, goodbye to the older you, the person you once were, by opening the window to new life, new feelings, new people and adventures... by letting go...
