About the Book

Keynes and Hayek never debated how much government was too much government, but that debate is needed now more than ever. As 70% of Americans believe that the Federal government is too powerful, Just Right articulates how Leftist Democracy has taken America off the road to greatness and how a return to Federalism and Liberal Democracy will create a more efficient economic platform for American Exceptionalism.
About the Author: About The Author: Early Years and Education: Tom was born in Chicago in 1950 and spent his early years moving around the Midwest with his parents. He lived in Chicago three times, Cleveland twice, Canton, Columbus and finally St. Louis where he attended Hazelwood Junior High and High Schools. For all you Hazelwood Hawks out there, 'Go Hawks.' Tom attended the University of Arizona and was the first Lewellen to graduate from College. Tom's first degree was in Math with a minor in Physics. With a slow job market, he went back to school and obtained a bachelor's in English with a minor in Journalism. Thinking he could write well enough to make money as an author, he worked for three years toward a Master's Degree in creative writing. After trying to write fiction for five years, he thought making money might be more fun than being an unpublished, impoverished writer. Professional Career: Over the last 30 years Tom has worked in a variety of sales and marketing positions, from a salesman on the street to executive vice president of sales and marketing for a variety of firms, small and large. Firms include AT&T, NCR, and Sequent. Tom also owned an internet firm for 8 years, and so knows what making a payroll is like as well as what having to hire and fire people. Tom worked on the Koble Congress Campaign in 1980 as the Research Director and was the Republican Nominee for the Arizona House of Representatives in 1982. Tom has two great kids and a wife of 22 years. To round out the perfect family, Chase our dog keeps the family safe and happy. Today: Tom lives with his wife of 25 years in Scottsdale, Arizona. His two children are in college and exceeding their parents expectations by every measure.
