Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2009 im Fachbereich Germanistik - Neuere Deutsche Literatur, Universität Hildesheim (Stiftung) (Institut für deutsche Sprache und Literatur), Veranstaltung: Jugendliteratur des Exils (II), Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Im Folgenden soll es nun um das Leben und Werk der bedeutenden Autorin Hermynia Zur Mühlen gehen. Zu Beginn der Arbeit wird ein kurzer biographischer sowie historischer Überblick gegeben. Hierbei soll verdeutlicht werden, wie prägend das Exil für das Handeln der Schriftstellerin war. Daran anschließend wird auf den antifaschistischen Widerstand eingegangen, der von passiver Resistenz bis zum Attentat reichte. Stets unterstütze Hermynia Zur Mühlen mit ihren Worten den Protest gegen den Nationalsozialismus. Ihr Anliegen war einerseits Deutschland aufzuklären und andererseits eine friedvolle Einheit zu schaffen. Dies wird auch in ihrem Werk 'Unsere Töchter, die Nazinen' deutlich. Mit großem Interesse habe ich mich diesem Roman zugewendet und eine eingrenzende Fragestellung entwickelt. Das Ziel der Analyse ist es, die Wandlung der Tochterfiguren aufzuzeigen. Am Ende wird eine Schlussfolgerung zu der vorgestellten Thematik gezogen. Im Jahr 1933 kamen Adolf Hitler und seine Partei, die NSDAP, an die Macht. Ziel wurde es, alle Bereiche des öffentlichen und privaten Lebens mit nationalsozialistischer Ideologie zu durchdringen. Die Vielschichtigkeit der deutschen Kultur hatte aufgehört zu existieren. Eine Atmosphäre der Verunsicherung und Einschüchterung wurde geschaffen. In Scharen verließen die Menschen Deutschland. Auch die Schriftstellerin Hermynia Zur Mühlen ereilte dieses Schicksal. Schockiert von der Skrupellosigkeit des NS-Regimes, emigrierte sie 1933 nach Österreich. Im Kampf gegen das Grauen verfasste sie zahlreiche literarische Werke. Am bekanntesten ist der Roman 'Unsere Töchter, die Nazinen'. Hier versucht die Autorin der Frage nachzugehen, warum sich vor allem die jungen Menschen der nationalsozialistischen Bewegung
