About the Book

This novel will take you on a hair-raising journey through the backwoods of Central West Virginia. You will be terrified as you read about how a couple of buddies were hassled by a group of aggressive bigfoot creatures. They were trapped on one side of the Little Kanawha river and unable to escape to their car which was located on the other side of the river via an old swinging bridge. Their every attempt to escape was thwarted by the creatures. Their experience soon became a life and death struggle to survive. As the story continues to unfold, it leads to more aggressive encounters with the bigfoot creatures and the people involved don't know what to do. They have several options but have to work out a plan that best suits their unique situation while they try to survive not only the bigfoot but also a new monster in the area they learn about along their journey. While they struggle to survive and attempt to escape, they meet a couple of unique individuals that offer to help them. Do they take this opportunity to allow them to help or do they make it out of the woods and back to civilization on their own? Do these new individuals meet their demise like someone already had? Does everyone make it out alive or do they all get killed in the process? You'll have to visit A Journey Through Hell and Back to find out. This story is primarily a work of fiction. The location is real along with some of the inner tales told to the author by his grandfather and aunt. The author had visited his grandparents who lived at this location on a farm hundreds of times while growing up. While the author has never sighted a Bigfoot himself in this location it is quite possible the bigfoot creatures could exist there.
