About the Book

At the age of 46, I was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) for my social behaviors. It was quite something, the way things occurred. They say that for every action...there is a reaction. I can be safe to say that my life story indeed, is that of the results of both action...and reaction. To let you "see" a visual of my story, this is how my journey to find a Tuft Solution began: One day, after being fed up with my opposition, my attending physician stood up, threw his paper and pen across the room and "fired" me. He told me that I was "too smart for myself" and that I had "exceeded" volition and that I had made my own free will to do as I pleased. Well, truth be told, his reaction didn't come as a surprise, because everyone I EVER worked for that had any dominion or authority over me and that I had to answer to ended up with the same reaction. Though it was never because of "inappropriate" behavior, because I have never disrespected anyone, it was always for the same reason...my voice.
About the Author: About the Author I was born July 17, 1968, on a small Air Force Base in Charleston, SC...the youngest of four daughters. After retiring with 26 years of service from the Air Force, my father and mother decided to have our family settle down. They had a house built in the newly developed community of Browns Mills, in northeast N.J, comprised mainly of retired military families. Only 8 years old, I spent my entire school aged years there, graduating in 1986 from Pemberton Twp., High School. After high school, I enrolled into Burlington County Community College, but decided school wasn't for me, so in 1986, I dropped out after my first year and started work as a U.S. Government Civil Servant. A year later, I met my then to be husband at a dance that we all would frequent at the Ft Dix Army base. I was married for just over 10 years, and from my marriage, we had three beautiful and loving children, two boys and one girl, my daughter being the middle child. As a single mother of three, it definitely was not an easy task for me. Having been terminated from over 15-20 "jobs", divorcing after 11 years of marriage, I KNOW understood the importance of education, and that education was the key to success. I decided to return to school, and after "flunking out of the 6th college...six different colleges that is, I finally decided that something more was causing me to fall short at meeting academic and employment success. It was not until I was 46 years of age, was I diagnosed with what man AND science define as "Autism". I have, since a young child, lived my life searching for the hidden answers of the mind of the perplexed. So when I returned to college, I majored in psychology, with the hopes of "understanding" why so many could not understand what to me was so simplistic, but what was so simplistic to others, I found to be so challenging. I studied many of the methods of psychology: social psychology, developmental psychology, abnormal psychology...but they all seemed to me simply a textbook diagnosis of "who" a person was based primarily on their behavior. It wasn't until the night of December 29-30, 2014, that my life would completely change...and I would never be the same. It was the beginning of my spiritual journey for a "Tuft Solution" ...that my Father God would finally provide me with peace and the understanding that, "it is not what we "see" ...it is indeed how we "look" at it...Shift* Tuft Solutions"
