Special Spotlight On Students (SOS) Issue.
The Journal of Cognition & Diversity is a peer reviewed journal publishing innovative research on the intersection of cognition and diversity. The goal of the journal is to address gaps in current psychology research, while simultaneously highlighting the importance of considering diversity of all kinds (e.g., gender differences, cultural differences, etc.). In service of this goal, the journal strongly encourages the publication of research on underrepresented populations. The journal publishes both empirical and theoretical work, advancing the maturation of psychology as a science as it differentiates into empirical and theoretical researchers. A secondary goal of the journal is to encourage the next generation of psychology researchers by providing them with a high quality, peer reviewed outlet for their research. In service of this goal, we publish special Spotlight On Students (SOS) issues throughout the year.
