About the Book

Job description details the consequential outcome of the deplorable state of the Nigerian economy. An economy saddled in corruption with nothing to offer it youthful generation but ill-fated hope. The Nigerian political class has failed its youth and has dashed the hope of many young graduates who strived to be educated to live their dream. "The dream can't be stopped," Ayo said. Many of these young ones set their goals so high and are never going to give it up. 'There are sure consequences in such an environment like ours as crime takes the centre stage in our Nation' Selim thought. Crime now reigns but the crime must be curbed. Goodspeed an SSS agent determined to give true justice soon became a victim of the Nigerian political class power, as he tried to follow up a corruption case unveil by his Uncle, Philips a year earlier. Philips won't last long before he and his wife died in an auto crash. A well-planned murder that Goodspeed understood so well. Goodspeed was going to investigate his uncle's death and was also going to make some shocking revelations about the arms scandal his uncle had raised earlier but before he could he was humiliated out of the agency and soon he, himself got caught up in the criminal world. His only success before living the agency was bringing home Philips lone survival Olaitan Philips and recommending her for the agency who desperately need a cryptologist at the time and she fits in perfectly for the role. She studied cryptology at Yale University and she was too good to be rejected.Goodspeed had to leave the SSS. He later hooked up with his old friend Spike (Shakiru) who introduced him to a man called Masters. He became the member of a kidnapping gang but hen Goodspeed joined the gang's agenda change. They Kidnap the rich, the political class, in turn for ransom which they give out to the society in charity. With revenge still on his mind, he masterminded the kidnapping of the SSS Director the man who was responsible for the murder of his uncle and wife and the same man who had ensured he was thrown out of the secret agency without any benefit. Their operation was successful but there was a saboteur among his trusted gang. Everyone was murdered but he, and the only suspect was himself at the time but he was also wanted dead. In his mind, he got help out of the creek from Debby a girl he fell in love with, in their short stay at the Citizens State and a girl that will later turn a major villain. He became devastated, depressed and angry with himself as he managed to escape the citizens' island, a small creek they settle in to plan their operation. On his escape route out of the island, he came across some set of university graduands who were celebrating their university graduation. Goodspeed, a sane man looking insane as he emerges from the water. He had a brief rapport with Selim one of the graduands who was sitting alone at the west coast of the Oniru beach. Soon Selim's friends, Ayo, Chike tom and Sarro came to drag him away but not before Selim got a complimentary card from the insane man who tried to convince him there is nothing to celebrate about their graduation.Goodspeed's insanely words only became meaningful when the five friends hooked up together again after their youth service. None of them was able to secure a job and they all remain a liability to their families. A day comes, and Selim came across the complementary card he was given one and half years ago, and Goodspeed's words begin to dawn on him and his friends. They all decided to ring Goodspeed's number. Soon they met Goodspeed, a man all but Selim had described as a professional mad man some years back, they were desperately in need of a job, Godspeed was in need of a new team to recover his money from the operation and avenge his lost friends and he wasn't going to be the lone avenger again. His niece Olaitan has every information he needed about his last operation's saboteur, his trusted friend Shakiru.
