Eine besondere Rolle spielt hier die blaue Blume, die dank Novalis ein zentrales Symbol der Romantik geworden ist. Im Traum sieht Heinrich die blaue Blume, die bei ihm die Sehnsucht nach Ferne auslöst. In dieser Hausarbeit möchte ich mich mit dem Roman von Novalis "Heinrich von Ofterdingen" und mit dem Thema die blaue Blume beschäftigen. Die Themen blaue Blume, Liebe und Poesie verschlingen sich im Roman und haben einen "symbolisch-analogischen Zusammenhang". Im ersten Teil werde ich untersuchen, in welchem Verhältnis die blaue Blume zur Liebe steht. Ich werde auch biographische Ansätze anwenden, um den Zusammenhang zwischen Mathilde und Sophie von Kühn zu zeigen, der dreizehnjährigen Verlobte von Novalis, welche an einer schweren Krankheit starb. Der Tod Sophies war das Schlüsselerlebnis von Novalis, das zu seiner Geburt als Dichter führte. Im zweiten Teil meiner Hausarbeit werde ich mich mit dem Thema Poesie in "Heinrich von Ofterdingen" beschäftigen. Poesie ist das bedeutendste Thema im Roman. "Die Welt muss romantisiert werden", schreibt Novalis in "Blütenstaub". Er will das Gewöhnliche ungewöhnlich und das Endliche unendlich machen, die Grenze zwischen Welt und Traum verwischen. Das Mittel dafür ist die Poesie. Bei Novalis bedeutet "Romantisieren" dasselbe, was "Poetisieren". Für diese steht das Symbol der blauen Blume. Den dritten Teil der Hausarbeit werde ich dem Thema des Pflückens der blauen Blume widmen. Was könnte das eigentlich bedeuten? Wenn die Liebe in Beziehung zur blauen Blume steht und die blaue Blume ein Symbol der Poesie ist, muss das Pflücken der blauen Blume mit Liebe und Poesie zusammenhängen. Ich werde versuchen, anhand der Gedichte von Goethe den Prozess des Pflückens der Blume zu erklären. Auch werde ich mich mit dem
