Im Zuge der Einführung von Advanced Nursing Practice (ANP) in Österreich, wird der Fokus vermehrt auf die Implementierung von erforschten Modellen und Konzepten, hinsichtlich der Optimierung der Praxis, gelegt. Eine klar definierte Aufgabe von Advanced Practice Nurses (APN) ist es, eine Praxis zu entwickeln, die auf aktuellen, Evidenz-basierten Forschungserkenntnissen beruht. Diese sollen ebenso in das Gesundheitsmanagement und die professionelle Pflege eingebunden werden. Advanced Nursing Practice soll sich der Forschung bedienen, um die pflegerische Betreuung zu verbessern. Auch der Bereich der Edukation in der Pflege ist gerade für Advanced Practice Nurses ein wichtiges Arbeitsfeld. Viele Frauen ergreifen diese Berufswahl erst eher spät. Wenn sie diese Wahl aber aus eigener Motivation heraus treffen, dann sind sie hochmotiviert die Ausbildung erfolgreich abzuschließen. Die vorliegende Studie analysiert, wie die Motivation zur Wahl einer Ausbildung im Zusammenhang mit dem Engagement während der Ausbildung steht. Das Phänomen intrinsischer Motivation der interviewten Teilnehmerinnen der Heimhilfeausbildung soll erfasst und anschließend denkbare Unterstützungsmöglichkeiten durch Advanced Nursing Practice im Bereich der Edukation dargelegt werden.
About the Author: Karin Eder wurde 1973 in Wien geboren. Sie absolvierte die Ausbildung zum gehobenen Dienst für Gesundheits- und Krankenpflege an der Pflegeschule Lainz und beendete 2013 ihren Bachelorstudiengang in Advanced Nursing Practice an der FH-Krems. Ebenso absolvierte sie dort das Zusatzmodul Pädagogik und schloss die Ausbildung zur Lehrerin für Gesundheits- und Krankenpflege im Sommer 2013 erfolgreich ab. 2015 erlangte sie ihren Master of Science in Pflegepädagogik an der Universität Graz. Beruflich sammelte sie langjährige Erfahrung in der Hauskrankenpflege als Primary Nurse und später als Casemanagerin. Seit 2013 arbeitet sie als Lehrkraft, seit 2014 an der ISL-Akademie NÖ als Vertretung der pädagogischen Leitung. Freiberuflich ist sie beim Deutschen Netzwerk DNAPN als Autorin tätig.
