Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2021 im Fachbereich Philosophie - Philosophie der Gegenwart, Note: 1,0, Universität zu Köln (Philosophische Fakultät), Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: In dieser Arbeit geht es darum, die MacIntyre´sche Theorie der moralischen Krise auf die neue digitale Realität zu übertragen und sie in den Kontext der Digitalisierung zu setzen. Ausgehend von der Forschungsfrage wird sich primär auf die Aspekte Individualisierung, Praxis und Tradition und auf den Emotivismus konzentriert. Die genannten Punkte werden dahingehend untersucht, ob der Effekt der moralischen Krise durch das Internet zusätzlich verstärkt wird und ob das Internet Bereiche bietet, die der Vorstellung von Tradition und Praxis, nach MacIntyre, entsprechen. Als im Jahr 1981 die Originalausgabe des Buches "After Virtue A Study in Moral Theory" von Alasdair MacIntyre erschien, steckte die Digitalisierung und das Internet noch in den Kinderschuhen. Heute, vierzig Jahre später, ist die digitale Revolution im vollen Gange und bringt neue Herausforderungen für Mensch und Gesellschaft mit sich, die auch das moralische Verhalten der Menschen neu herausfordern. Eine moralische Debatte kann heute nicht mehr unter dem Ausschluss der Digitalisierung geführt werden, dafür nimmt sie einen zu hohen Stellenwert in der heutigen Gesellschaft ein. Im ersten Kapitel wird zunächst die MacIntyre´sche Theorie in ihren Grundzügen zusammengefasst. Anschließend gilt es in einem Exkurs den digitalisierten Menschen zu skizzieren - Das erste und zweite Kapitel bilden die Basis für die weitere Argumentation. Das dritte Kapitel dient der tieferen Auseinandersetzung. Der Individualismus im Netz wird anhand Sozialer Netzwerke verdeutlicht, wobei die Theorie des Emotivismus in Beziehung zum Postfaktualismus, Fake News und Co. gesetzt wird. Das vierte Kapitel greift die Hypothese MacIntyres zur Gemeinschaft, sowie Tradition und Praxis auf, die bei MacIntyre unmittelbar zusammenhängen und untersucht, ob Onlinespiele das P
