Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2003 im Fachbereich BWL - Offline-Marketing und Online-Marketing, Note: 2,0, Hochschule Aalen (Wirtschaftswissenschaftliche Fakultät), Veranstaltung: Vertiefung Marketing/Vertrieb, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Globalisierung ist in aller Munde. Erschließung von neuen Zielmärkten sowie die Expansion auf diesen Märkten entwickelt sich immer mehr zum Credo der deutschen Großunternehmen (Meffert 1998). Nur die kleinen und mittleren Unternehmen (KMU) zögern trotz der Konjunkturschwäche und den damit verbundenen Absatzproblemen auf den Heimatmärkten. Nur 7 % der deutschen KMU sind in irgendeiner Weise international tätig, wobei sich die Internationalisierung zu 90 % auf die Anrainerstaaten und Mitglieder der Europäischen Union (EU) begrenzt. Doch gerade "exotische" Länder wie die Volksrepublik China, die sich im wirtschaftlichen Aufbau befinden, könnten von dem Wissen und den Produkten deutscher KMU profitieren. Ziel dieser Hausarbeit ist die Darstellung von Internationalisierungsstrategien und deren Motive. Diese Strategien werden im Allgemeinen auf die Realisierbarkeit seitens der deutschen KMU untersucht und anschließend am Beispiel Volksrepublik China unter Berücksichtigung einer Befragung von 20 deutschen KMU aus dem baden-württembergischen Ostalbkreis überprüft. Der Fokus liegt auf der Entwicklung des deutsch-chinesischen Handels, der hauptsächlich anhand der Import- und Exportbilanz zwischen der Bundesrepublik Deutschland und der Volksrepublik China skizziert wird. Empfehlungen zu weiterführenden Internationalisierungsschritten werden jedoch kurz ausgesprochen, und durch die Erkenntnisse aus der Befragung gestützt. Die Hausarbeit untergliedert sich in 6 Kapital. Kapitel 2 skizziert die allgemeine wirtschaftliche Entwicklung, die Kerninhalte der Außenwirtschaftsstrategie sowie der deutschchinesische Handel.
