Diese empirische Untersuchung wurde durch die Forderung des Ministeriums fur Wissenschaft und Forschung des Landes NRW er- moglicht. DaB wir sie ausfuhren konnten, ist an erster Stelle den Schulen und Lehrern zu danken, die durch ihre Bereitschaft, unter den von uns genannten Bedingungen Unterrichtsstunden zu halten, die grundlegende Voraussetzung fur unsere Arbeit geschaffen haben. Bei der Aufzeichnung der Unterrichtsstunden unterstutzte uns die Unterrichtsmitschau des Gesamtseminars Koln. In vielen gemeinsamen Projektsitzungen haben an der Ausarbei- tung des Untersuchungsplanes mit den Autoren dieses Bandes zu- sammengearbeitet: Herr Dr. Rudolf Bensch, Herr Dr. Klaus Beyer und Herr Dr. Klaus-Ulrich Wasmuth. Daruber hinaus mochten wir Herrn Dr. Karl Steffens danken, der uns einige entscheidende Hinweise in methodisch-statistischen Fragen gab, sowie Herrn Peter Allhoff, der die Aufbereitung und Verrechnung unserer Da- ten im Rechenzentrum der Universitat Koln zum groBen Teil uber- nahm. Die Hauptlast der Kleinarbeit ist manchmal bis zur Selbstver- leugnung von den Studentischen Hilfskraften getragen geworden, die zeitweise oder fur die ganze Dauer an diesem Forschungs- projekt mitgearbeitet haben. Von ihnen kamen aber auch wert- volle sachliche Beitrage. Es haben mitgearbeitet: Reiner Daub, Michael Fischer, Barbel Freudewald, Kerstin Kilanowski, Brigitte Klein, Marianne Kutzner, Angelika Moller, Michael Peters, Bar- bara Ruf, Gisela Schinawa, Petra Scholer, Franz Wohlfarth. Be- sonderer Dank gilt den Wissenschaftlichen Hilfskraften Kristina Muhlenberg und Manfred Pulm, die im Zusammenhang mit ihren Examensarbeiten und Dissertationsprojekten engagiert an der in- haltlich-konstruktiven Arbeit teilgenommen haben.
