About the Book

Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2009 im Fachbereich BWL - Personal und Organisation, Note: 1,3, Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences, ehem. Fachhochschule Frankfurt am Main, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: "Panta Rhei" (Alles fließt) erkannte bereits Heraklit, ein Philosoph der um 500 v. Chr. lebte. Seine Lehre besagt, dass Wandel und Veränderung ein konstanter Bestandteil der Weltordnung sind. Dieses alte Sprichwort gewinnt in der heutigen Zeit immer mehr an Bedeutung. Das Tempo von Veränderungen und Wandel, beruflich, im privaten Leben, gesellschaftlich und global, wird zunehmend beschleunigt. Unternehmen - egal ob im Profit- oder Non-Profit Bereich - müssen sich, um weiterhin auf dem Markt zu bestehen, den neuen Bedingungen anpassen. Absatzmärkte sind dynamischer, Produktlebenszyklen kürzer, neue Technologien und Märkte werden erschlossen und das Verhalten der Menschen ändert sich. Das alles verlangt Veränderung und Anpassung der Unternehmensstrategien, denn was heute noch eine Problemlösung bietet reicht für die Herausforderungen von morgen nicht aus. Externe Faktoren durch Veränderung der Umwelt z.B. durch die Globalisierung, verlangen kostengünstigere Produktionen und innovative Produkte und steigern gleichzeitig den Konkurrenzdruck sowie die Ansprüche der Kunden. Auch interne Faktoren, wie Fusionen, Kultur, soziale und ethische Ansprüche, zwingen die Unternehmen zum ständigen Wandel. Ein Management des Stillstands ist somit nicht mehr möglich, denn wer sich nicht schnell genug anpasst wird auf dem Weltmarkt schnell verdrängt. Management von Veränderungen, Change Management, "ist kein Selbstzweck, sondern die Antwort auf einen fundamentalen Veränderungsbedarf im Unternehmen". Es gibt dabei unterschiedliche Instrumentarien und Werkzeuge um die praktische Umsetzung von Veränderungsprozessen zu stärken und erfolgreich zu managen. In meiner folgenden Ausarbeitung möchte ich zunächst auf den Begriff des Change Management eingehen sowie einige wichtige Aspekte dazu
