Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2005 im Fachbereich Kulturwissenschaften - Allgemeines und Begriffe, Note: 1.0, Fachhochschule Kufstein Tirol, Veranstaltung: "Monet und Camille" in der Bremer Kunsthalle, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Nach Gerhard Schulzes Definition bewegen wir uns, wenn wir uns mit Kunst beschäftigen im Hochkulturschema: Kultivierte und Gebildete "richten sich gegen Bildzeitungsleser, biertrinkende Vielfernseher, Massentouristen und expressives Verhalten wie Lärm und der Betonung des Körperlichen.". So liegt es nahe, wenn Kunst des öfteren als "elitär" bezeichnet wird, da zu deren Verständnis ein künstlerisches und kulturgeschichtliches Vorwissen nötig sei. Wäre dann nicht auch Fußball elitär und Teil des Hochkulturschemas? Es gibt kaum etwas voraussetzungsvolleres als z.B. die Abseitsregeln. Die Bremer Bevölkerung (Einwohnerzahl 500.000) hat es im Sommer 2004 richtig erkannt - 380.000 Bremer bevölkerte den Platz rund um das Bremer Rathaus, welches auch als Weltkulturerbe gehandelt wird, und feierten die Deutsche Fußballmeisterschaft des SV Werder Bremen. Der erste Schritt in Richtung Neu(er)findung Bremens? Einher ging die Bewerbung Bremens um die Kulturhauptstadt 2010 und die Auszeichnung zur "Stadt der Wissenschaft". "Bremen möchte den Beweis antreten, dass Kultur, Wissenschaft, Stadterneuerung und Wirtschaft wirkungsvoll ineinander greifen können. Kultur bedeutet Lebensqualität (...)" Die Bremer Kunsthalle zeigt, dass eine intelligente Vermittlung von Kunst zum Ausgangspunkt nennenswerter Wertschöpfung werden kann. Sie orientiert sich mit ihren Programmen an überregionaler Hör- und Sichtbarkeit und unterstützt den Kulturkonsum durch milieuspezifische und -übergreifende Marketing- und Managementmaßnahmen. Diese Arbeit soll sich vor allem mit den strukturellen Gegebenheiten und der Positionierung der Bremer Kunsthalle beschäftigen. Dabei soll der Schwerpunkt auf das Großprojekt 2005 "Monet und Camille.
