About the Book

Adult: Explicit Love Making in the Love Stories. The author tells a touching, heart rending, remarkable story of her thin, tall, beautiful heroine, Stefania Czarnowska based on the true story of her grandmother. The journey begins when she is eighteen years old in May of 1901 and arrives on the Fells Point Pier in America alone from Poland with a baby boy, Stanislaw. She is sponsored by a friend to come to this small town in America. It is home to many Polish Americans and is booming with commerce. Its deep water docks are deeper than the docks on Pratt Street of downtown Baltimore City and are ideal for foreign trade. Baltimore City's great fire burned the Pratt Street docks and headed for Fells Point, causing concern for its residents. Then there is a flashback into Stefania's two prior years in Poland where there is great joy and sadness in her life. Kaiser Wilhelm, II's armies ran raids along the south western border of Poland (Note not in book: Silesia was returned to Poland in an Agreement at Yalta after World War II). The author returns to her compelling story of her heroine's life in America, arousing all of your emotions of love and passion, joy and laughter, tragedy and sadness. Stefania's fear as a mother, as her only son enlists in the Navy in World War I, is exacerbated when she is unable to convince him otherwise. The heroine is strong, stoic, undaunted, and resolute in handling all the twists and turns life brings her way, facing them head on with her quiet tears, not allowing them to take away her peace and happiness. In the book you'll get to meet Jozef Kozlowski, a hard working stevedore, who deeply falls in love and has forbidden passions for the object of his love, adoring a woman who could never truly be his. You'll also get to know Stefania's neighbor, Mrs. Emma Norwicki, whose mind is twisted with evil thoughts that she acts upon from relentless hatred and envy of Stephania's great beauty. Then history seems to repeat itself in the lifestyle, dynamics, character, strong spiritual depth, romantic love and passion of her granddaughter, Gabriella Patrizi, who is like her in her looks and her personality. In meeting Gabriella, the author takes you to a Fashion Buyer's Party in New York City where she is the guest of her best friend Anita Jenkins, who is a Fashion Buyer for a large department store. At the party, Gabriella meets the handsome, Mike Callahan, who is a guest of his uncle who owns dress factories and hotels. Even though Mike lives near Gabriella while attending Hopkins in Baltimore, he's a New Yorker from a family of Investment Bankers. A sequel will be coming shortly wherein Stefania's granddaughter, Gabriella Patrizi, is the heroine who becomes a lawyer and volunteers with a political think tank.
About the Author: The author while working and raising four sons, attended college as a Psychology and Child Development major with a minor in Business. Hoping to go on for her doctorate, she took upper level and some graduate courses in hopes of skipping her masters. Unfortunately, due to lack of funds, she was not able to finish her last semester of college for the twelve credits needed to graduate from FAU. Within two years of her return to Baltimore, she was seriously injured. It took about fifteen years for doctors to discover her breathing was obstructed when she slept on her back as she collapsed the roof of her mouth in the injury. Her heart stopped and she would be flying around wondering how this could be happening without a jet pack. A jolt shaking the bed would occur when she got a gasp of air and rolled on her side. From this injury, she continually had heart problems and went from going up and down seven flights of steps for exercise during breaks at work to struggling to go up one set of steps after the injury. The flying around at night ended after medical treatment and surgery. She writes about this and other persons near death experiences in her upcoming book next year The Saints and Seers, their visions and miracles. She is writing another spiritual book reflecting God's great love for us, and that it is man who creates the suffering on earth. Every penny going to Magesh Books, the author, and the marketers from both spiritual books will go to doing God's work: helping the poor, the sick, the addicts, for rehabilitating the criminals, and for other worthy causes. Wanting to make a difference, she wrote letters to the press, politicians, and others from 1968 to the present time. Her first letter was written in 1968 for after-school programs for children in Baltimore City to prevent them from getting involved with drugs. She hopes to make a difference by entertaining her readers and for them to come away as more enlightened happy persons. Her family is the most important aspect to her life, especially her seven grandchildren.
