About the Author

Muralidhar Kulkarni is currently Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK), Surathkal, Karnataka. He has also served as Head, Department of Information Technology, Delhi; Head, Computer Center, Delhi College of Engineering, Delhi and Lecturer (Electronics Engineering) in the Electrical Engineering Department, University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering, Bangalore. He has a vast teaching experience and his research interests are in the areas of Digital Communications, Information Theory and Coding, Fuzzy Digital Image Processing, Optical Communication and Networks and OFDM/COFDM Techniques. K S Shivaprakasha is currently Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Bahubali College of Engineering, Shravanabelagola, Karnataka. He is a gold medallist in M.Tech. (Digital Electronics and Communication Systems) from Malnad College of Engineering, Visvesvaraya Technological University, Karnataka. He has a teaching experience of 10 years and his areas of research interest include Wireless Sensor Networks, Mobile Ad Hoc Networks, Information Coding Theory and Cryptography.
