"Self-Regulation", refers to our ability to use self-control to behave in appropriate
ways - this may mean controlling our impulses or it may mean doing something, even if
we don't want to do it (being polite to our teacher, even though she/he has been really
unfair to us). Our ability to regulate or manage our behavior allows us to focus when
there are distractions and to pay attention to the most important information. And, it also
improves inner qualities such as being aware of actions, following rules, adapting to new situations,
doing what is socially expected, suppressing outbursts of anger, and taking on challenges. Thus,
Self-Regulation influences the quality of our life.
In the present social impact's modern technological world, children are
overloaded with good as well as bad things. It is not possible for parents or teachers to
keep a close watch over youngster's activities on electronic or social media. Hence,
