Dixie is looking forward to her flight from Portland to Seattle. For the senior flight attendant, it will be the last chance to work with her friend Suzanne. Dixie doesn't realize that the flight will be memorable for an entirely different reason.
The flight is over the wild forests of the Pacific Northwest when the man in seat 25C makes his intentions known. He has a bomb, wants quite a lot of money, and isn't afraid to blow them all to kingdom come if he doesn't get his requests granted. As the authorities on the ground rush to comply, Dixie realizes something about the skyjacker, but before she can alert anyone, she is viciously attacked and left for dead. The plane lands safely, but her assailant gets away. Once she regains consciousness at the hospital, she can't remember any details of the horrible event. Worst of all, the assault killed her unborn baby.
As Dixie struggles to regain her memories and move on with her husband, Marceau, Suzanne suspects that the key to finding the skyjacker lies in Dixie's buried memories. Dixie will go on a long quest that will force her to choose between justice and vengeance.
