Words are our most powerful agents of change, and that's exactly how debut poet Iggy Mizuh uses them in this reflective, inspirational collection.
As a former soldier, a world traveler, and a multicultural citizen of the globe, Mizuh taps in to his expansive scope of experience to inform and craft his art.
Mizuh's eye is a telescope, adjusting its range from the intimate details of the personal to encompassing social issues that affect us all.
Using straightforward language, Mizuh does more than point to problems, though. His work offers solutions and reflective moments that urge the reader toward thought, engagement, and action.
Through the power of language, be inspired by this rousing, thoughtful new voice in contemporary poetry as you contemplate yourself, the world at large, and your place in that global scheme.
