Bachelorarbeit aus dem Jahr 2012 im Fachbereich Führung und Personal - Personalführung, Note: 1,0, Hochschule Coburg (FH), Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Ziel der Arbeit ist es, den gelebten Karrierepfad einer Organisation abzubilden. Hierbei finden sowohl die Beförderungskriterien als auch der zeitliche Aspekt, also der Verbleib auf der jeweiligen Position, Berücksichtigung. Der Karrierepfad wird so allgemein wie möglich gehalten und ist nicht funktionsabhängig. Zudem werden Beschleunigungskriterien für eine Karriere gefunden, um Indikatoren für die Personalentwicklung zu finden. Aus diesen werden dann im Anschluss an die Bachelorarbeit konkrete Entwicklungsmaßnahmen abgeleitet. Außerdem werden mittels genannter Beschreibungen eine Definition für High Potentials und etwaige Identifikationsmerkmale erfasst. Anhand der theoretischen Grundlagen zur Identifikation von High Potentials und dem Ergebnis der empirischen Befragung werden dann Handlungsempfehlungen ausgesprochen. Der untersuchte Sportartikelhersteller steht am Beginn von umfassenden Transformationsprozessen und will Schlüsselpositionen mit Personen besetzen, die zukünftig mit dem Thema Change und dem geplanten Unternehmenswachstum anhand ihrer Kompetenzen mit Strukturwandel mithalten können. Zudem hat das Management erkannt, dass in den nächsten Jahren ein Mangel an Führungskräftenachwuchs droht. Die Bachelorarbeit dient somit als Vorarbeit für das spätere High Potential Programm und soll Methoden finden, die High Potentials im Unternehmen ausfindig zu machen. Es soll durch Befragungen im Unternehmen der idealtypische Karrierepfad aufgezeigt werden. Basierend auf dem Karrierepfad sollen Fördermaßnahmen, die einen schnelleren Weg für besonders talentierte Mitarbeiter ermöglichen, im Rahmen eines High-Potential Programms entwickelt und Ansatzpunkte für dieses gefunden werden. Des Weiteren sollen Methoden gefunden werden, mit welchen eine Auswahl der passenden Kandidaten getroffen werden kann.
