Ibrahim Dawood Kaskar vit à Bombay. Il s'ennuie au collège et sèche les cours. Il vole pour se faire de l'argent de poche mais se fait attraper. Son père intervint pour lui éviter la prison mais lui donne une correction. Il décide d'abandonner le domicile familial et forme une bande, les Konkanis. Ils se tournent vers le port mais la bande se fait attraper par la police. Ibrahim et son frère Iqbal sont emprisonnés dans un centre pénitentiaire où ils jouent des poings pour se faire respecter. Ils se font remarquer par des barons de la pègre. En sortant de prison, ils intègrent un gang qui donne dans le trafic d'or.Ibrahim devient l'un des caïds de la bande.En 1977, Ibrahim Dawood quitte son groupe et forme une bande, la "D Company . Il s'associe avec deux autres chefs de bande: Chhota Shakeel et Chhota Rajan. Ensemble, ils se lancent dans un marché prometteur, celui des armes. Car un pays voisin, l'Afghanistan est en guerre. C'est une période faste pour sa bande qui gagne des millions.Ibrahim Dawood fait la connaissance des frères Pathan, lieutenants de Karim Lala, le mafieux le plus puissant de Bombay. Les frères Pathan veulent se lancer dans le trafic d'opium. Pour cela, ils ont besoin d'hommes déterminés et l'engagent. Ce marché est une aubaine pour Ibrahim Dawood et ses hommes. Tellement que l'argent gagné lui donne des ambitions. 1981. Ibrahim Dawood est maintenant son seul maître. Il met en place son organisation qui se montre efficace. Trop pour ses rivaux qui le regardent d'un oeil mauvais. Son frère Shabbir est tué. Ibrahim Dawood se jure de venger sa mort mais il doit patienter. Deux ans ont passés. C'est le moment que choisit Ibrahim Dawood pour exercer sa vengeance. Il fait tuer un des frères Pathan. Karim Lala ordonne une réaction. La tête d'Ibrahim Dawood est mise à prix. Il prend le large et s'exile aux Emirats Arabes Unis.Ibrahim Dawood s'installe à Dubaï, mais il doit continuer ses affaires. Il investit alors dans des projets immobiliers. Tout lui réussit. Alors, il décide de fonder une famille. Il découvre que les ouvriers d'origine indienne envoient une partie de leur paie à leur famille en utilisant des virements bancaires très taxés. Il organise un réseau de transfert d'argent en utilisant une pratique courante des musulmans: le Hawala. Le réseau démarre lentement mais finit par transférer des centaines de milliers de dollars. C'est le jackpot pour la D Company . Mais en 1988, la justice indienne demande son extradition. Ibrahim Dawood décide de quitter la région.Le 12 août 1991, Ibrahim Dawood s'installe à Karachi, capitale économique du Pakistan. Avec l'aide de membres des services secrets, il se lance dans le trafic d'opium. En décembre 1992, la mosquée de Babri Masjid à Ayodhya est détruite par des extrémistes hindous. Des affrontements causent la mort de plus de deux mille musulmans. Les services secrets pakistanais demandent à Ibrahim Dawood d'organiser des attentats en Inde. C'est le vendredi noir de mars 1993.Les criminels de confession hindoue voient cela comme une guerre confessionnelle. Chhota Rajan quitte son organisation et il emmène avec lui tous ceux qui ne sont pas musulmans. Son organisation criminelle croît et il devient le principal rival de la D Company .En 1998, Chhota Rajan veut prendre la place de numéro 1. Ibrahim Dawood lance son offensive. Le 15 septembre 2000, un commando blesse gravement Chhota Rajan mais il s'en sort.La D Company devient un des principaux financeurs des services secrets pakistanais. Grâce à leur soutien, il vit tranquillement au Pakistan et agit en toute impunité. Malgré les menaces.Il continue à mener ses affaires et à s'enrichir. Mais le temps passe et il vieillit. Il marie ses enfants à des hommes d'affaires indiens ou pakistanais et finit par faire arrêter son principal ennemi, Chhota Rajan, en 2015.Désormais, il peut finir sa vie en paix.
