About the Author:

Gabriele Arcidiacono è Professore di Ingegneria Industriale presso l'Università degli Studi G. Marconi di Roma, Ph.D. (1997) in Ingegneria Meccanica e Visiting Professor (2000) presso il Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) di Boston, USA. È autore di 9 libri e circa 90 memorie scientifiche. In qualità di Master Black Belt ha implementato il primo programma Six Sigma in Italia (General Electric); dal 1995 svolge in Europa, Stati Uniti, America Latina e Cina attività di formazione e sviluppo di progetti Lean Six Sigma, Design for Six Sigma, WCM sia per aziende multinazionali che PMI. È stato insignito nel 2002 da Genichi Taguchi del Robust Engineering Award (S. Diego, USA).

Claudio Calabrese ricopre il ruolo di Lean Six Sigma expert e trainer in una multinazionale americana che opera nel settore dell'Oil&Gas. Nelle precedenti esperienze è stato Process & Quality Manager in una società del gruppo BNP Paribas e assistente del corso di Quality Management presso la facoltà di Economia ed Ingegneria della Qualità (MIQ - Università degli Studi di Firenze). È stato inoltre coacher e trainer per la metodologia Lean Six Sigma all'interno di molteplici aziende multinazionali e PMI. La sua esperienza è fortemente orientata al Process Excellence e al Business Process Management (Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, WCM, Lean Office, Lean Six Sigma, Strategy Deployment, Statistical Process Control).

Kai Yang è Professore presso il dipartimento di Industrial e System Engineering (Wayne State University, Detroit, Stati Uniti). Le sue aree di ricerca includono il Six Sigma, metodi statistici per la qualità e ingegneria dell'affidabilità, lean healthcare e metodologie di design engineering. È esperto a livello mondiale in area Six Sigma, Design for Six Sigma, qualità nel settore dei servizi e autore di 5 libri nella tematica Design for Six Sigma, Six Sigma e metodi statistici multivariati. Ben noto trainer per le metodologie Six Sigma e Lean, ha condotto varie sessioni in molteplici aziende, fra cui Apple Inc e Siemens.
