Sunday Mornings at the River is an Eindhoven based independent English poetry press. It is run by poets for poets. Our aim is to create a healthy literary community in which we ourselves feel like we would be able to thrive.
We believe a poet's job is much like what Salman Rushdie wrote in his novel The Satanic Verses: a poet's work is to name the unnamable, to point at frauds, to take sides, start arguments, shape the world and stop it from going to sleep. This is the kind of poetry we are looking to publish.
The winter 2022 edition contains poetry by Addissyn House, Amy Isobel Miller, Bernie Freytag, Bronte Cook, Candice Kelsey, Carella Keil, Daragh Fleming, Devjani Bodepudi, Dylan Parkin, Ebony Gilbert, Effie Kostalas, F. Jordan Carnice, Fayth Simmons, Fortune Maine, Gerry Stewart, Jaap Kagiso Bierman, Jade Crimson Rose Da Costa, Jane O'Brien, John Chinaka Onyeche, Josephine Raye Kelly, Kimberly Phinney, L.K Nguyen, Bardi Osobuanomola Catherine, Rachel Dickens, Rakhi Medhi, Sabina Mérida, Sage Aspyn Short, Samantha Tucker, Sarah Jeannine Booth, Scarlett Ward, Sebrina Joergensen, Suzanna Lundale, Taylor Bowser, Wesley Finch and Yukti Narang.
