Regardless of age, it is never too late to be happy. 25 years later, I learned how to be happy through all my ups and downs; regardless of my background. The key is what to do to be happy. Is it easy? Probably not, or it can be. It is up to you.
This book will walk you through the challenges that I faced with abuse, eating disorder, being bullied, emotional, angry, alone, afraid, running away, life struggles, single parenting, shame, trust issues, depression and hurt by others. All I can say is, we all have dealt with something in our lives at one time or another. It took me years until I said enough is enough, then I had to make changes within myself. My friends couldn't do it, definitely not my family.
Do you find yourself going in circles with life? Back and forth and still making the same mistakes back and forth; without accomplishing your goals. Great ideas but not achieving them. It could be finances, diets, working out, starting a business, etc. Sometimes, we start short term goals for a reason, however, it should be a long term goal. Unfortunately, you go back to square one, year after year.
Well, I was one of those folks when it came to eating disorders. I kept saying that I'm not going to do it again. Wow! It took me to realize that I was hurting myself and it was a habit that needed to be broken. Oh, and what about trying to be someone that I'm not, in order to be accepted by peers or family. Geez! Crazy stuff! What about at a young age being abused and afraid to tell anyone? What about moving in an environment and being teased, or picked on, for no reason?
The good news is that you can still be happy!
