#1 Amazon Bestseller in Early Civilization #1 Amazon Bestseller in Agnosticism #2 in Amazon Kindle Hot New Releases Normally $4.44. At discount only for today. 150,000 years ago. In a land that is now known as Africa. They think it's him. He doesn't... A young man named Ayot has been nominated as the tribe's God, but is he really one? Will he command the tribe as a surprise pick? Or is he going to be branded as their first failure? To succeed he will have to complete the Tasks of God before the next full moon. The odds are definitely against him, and he doesn't have a choice. Three impossible Tasks. Thirty days to complete. Why was I chosen? But he doesn't have time to dwell. In a quest of self-discovery that will propel him across deserts, dense forests, and open savannahs in a frantic race against time to prove his divinity, I am God: World's Oldest Story will put you firmly in the driver's seat, as you follow the prehistoric adventures of Ayot. You will realize that at its deepest core, the challenges faced by Ayot are the same that you face today. This is NOT his story of discovering his divinity. This is YOURS. Please scroll up and grab this book now. AN EXCERPT FROM THE AUTHOR'S INTERVIEW: What is 'I am God: World's Oldest Story' about? Like the title says, it is the oldest story in the world. It is an action adventure set in a prehistoric Africa. Without giving away much of the story, I can tell you that the protagonist is an unwilling hero on whom a great responsibility has been thrust. While undertaking the responsibilities, he discovers some amazing things about himself and about his fellow men. What would the readers expect to read? It's a fast paced story. Most of us have an incorrect notion of how our ancient ancestors lived. Our ancestors were pretty perceptive and intelligent. They were also much more robust than we are. They were living Man vs Wild day in and day out. When we talk about prehistoric fiction, we have to talk about Jean M. Auel's Earth's Children series. Have you read her books? No, I haven't read them but would like to. I was researching on my book when I first stumbled on Jean Auel's 'Clan of the Cave Bear'. Her books are of the Cro-Magnon period. 'I am God' is set a 100,000 years further back. The title 'I am God' is interesting. What does it convey? There was a time when Gods were living amongst us. They no longer do. Why? The story explains a bit in that direction. So does it talk on the origin of religion? There is a little spirituality involved. Even our ancestor cavemen had rules to guide them. I am yet to decide whether the overall series would touch upon the origin of religion. There is a series? Yes. Atleast a sequel. My purpose in writing books is that it should be as relevant decades later as its today. I like to entertain the readers. That's my main purpose. But it should also touch them; leave them with a message that stays with them for a long time. Is it like Paulo Coelho's 'The Alchemist'? It is interesting that you mentioned that. Both stories are set in Africa & are about discovering the self and the potential that's within us. I like to think of my book as The Alchemist on steroids.
