About the Author: Bart Boehlert is Senior Writer, Special Projects, at Ralph Lauren. He was born in New Hartford, New York, outside of Utica, attended McGill University in Montreal where he studied Art History, and is a longtime resident of New York City. He has worked in the past for Condé Nast and Saks Fifth Avenue, has written for numerous magazines, interviewed stylemakers including Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, Manolo Blahnik and Lauren Hutton, and produces a popular blog called Bart Boehlert's Beautiful Things (bartboehlert.com), which is a style diary of life in New York City. He lives in Chelsea with his partner, artist and designer Ted Dawson, and their cats Rose and Bell.
