"How to communicate with horses" is a book for horse owners, riders, and trainers and for everyone who wants to communicate with his equine partner.The purpose of this guide is to "listen" and "talk" better to horses. We focus on how horses use body language to express their needs and emotions and on the importance of riders' non-verbal communication.
The book has three parts:
In Part One, we talk about the horse body. We analyze how he uses different body parts, the signals he sends, and how we can interpret them, taking into account different contexts and circumstances.
In Part two, we look at the most common mental, physical, and emotional states and how we can recognize them in domestic horses. We study the behavior of the aggressive, relaxed, depressed, curious, happy, focused, playful, anxious, and fearful horse.
Part three is dedicated to the rider's non-verbal language. How he uses his body, in groundwork and in the saddle, to communicate with the horse.
