About the Author: DAN BIANCHI has been founder/Artistic Director of 4 international theater companies, written and directed over 50 plays and musicals, worked as screenwriter in Hollywood, won 3-times Best Director Off Broadway, the ASCAP Musical Theater Award, Billy Rose Theater Award, the National Writers Guild Screenwriting Award, a MacDowell Fellowship, and a National Humanities Grant. He founded Radiotheatre in 2004 and has since produced/ written/directed 39 live stage productions and over 200 performances at various NYC venues. Radiotheatre has been nominated for NY Innovative Theatre Awards 13 times and 5 years in a row as Best Performance Art. Dan won 2008 Best Original Music and Best Sound Design. He was nominated for a 2010 Drama Desk Award. To date, he is the most produced living stage writer in NYC. In 2003, he created Videotheatre, NYC's only year round Digital Video-dedicated Indie theater.
