About the Book

Jennifer Aniston is a well-known American actress, producer, and businesswoman. She was born on February 11, 1969, in Sherman Oaks, California, and began her career in the entertainment sector in the late 1980s. Aniston gained to stardom in the 1990s with her depiction of Rachel Green on the hit TV sitcom Friends, which lasted from 1994 to 2004. She has since appeared in other movies, including Marley & Me, The Break-Up, and Horrible Bosses. Aniston has won several honors throughout her career, including Primetime Emmy, Golden Globe, and Screen Actors Guild Awards. She has also been active in several social and business activities, including her engagement in production firms and endorsement deals. Aniston is regarded one of the most influential and highest-paid actresses in Hollywood.
Jennifer Aniston was born to John Aniston, an actor well known for his work on the soap opera "Days of Our Lives," and Nancy Dow, an actress and model. Aniston's parents split when she was nine years old, and she was raised mostly by her mother. She attended the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts in New York City before studying acting at the School of Performing Arts at New York City's New School University.
Aniston's first major part was on the TV comedy Molloy in 1990, followed by a guest appearance on the hit sitcom The Edge of Night. She then secured a series of tiny film parts, including the horror-comedy Leprechaun in 1993. Yet, it was her role as Rachel Green on Friends that made her a household name. The show was a big hit and ran for ten seasons, from 1994 to 2004.
After Friends, Aniston focused on her film career, appearing in a range of genres including romantic comedies, dramas, and thrillers. She has also made guest appearances on various TV shows, including 30 Rock, Cougar Town, and The Morning Show.
Aniston has been married twice, first to actor Brad Pitt from 2000 to 2005, and secondly to actor Justin Theroux from 2015 until 2017. She has been upfront about her challenges with dyslexia and has spoken out about body shaming and the need of self-acceptance.
In addition to her acting career, Aniston has been active in several charity and entrepreneurial projects. She has been an advocate for various organizations, including St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Stand Up to Cancer. Aniston has also co-founded production businesses Echo Films and Plan B Entertainment, as well as sponsoring various products and brands.
