Einleitung Diese Arbeit gibt einen Überblick in die geschichtliche Entwicklung der Berufsbildung in Deutschland. Ausgehend von der ständischen Handwerkserziehung im 11. Jahrhundert, werden durch Zuhilfenahme verschiedener Quellen, die frühen Entwicklungen der Berufsbildung in Deutschland aufgezeigt. Ausführungen ab dem 16. Jahrhundert basieren zu großen Teilen auf den Ausführungen zur "geschichtlichen Entwicklung der gewerblichen Berufsschule" von Simon Thyssen. Nach der Gründung der ersten Sonntagsschulen ab dem 16. Jahrhundert, wird mit der Gründung des deutschen Kaiserreiches, 1871 außerdem auf die Ausführungen zur "Geschichte der Berufsausbildung in Deutschland" von Wolf-Dietrich Greinert eingegangen. Zur Jahrhundertwende wird den Errungenschaften von Georg Kerschensteiner, Alois Fischer und Eduard Spranger, als Begründer der Berufsbildungstheorie, Aufmerksamkeit geschenkt. Es folgt eine grobe Zusammenfassung der wichtigsten Ereignisse zur Zeit der Weimarer Republik sowie der NS-Zeit, bis zur Verabschiedung des Berufsbildungs- gesetzes 1969. Im folgenden Kapitel werden die Entwicklungen der Wirtschaft und des Arbeitsmarktes, die in den letzten 25 Jahren Einfluss auf die Berufsbildung in Deutschland genommen haben, aufgezeigt. Dabei werden beispielsweise die Entwicklungen in der Elektroindustrie Ende der 1980er aufgegriffen, weil sie Reformen der Berufsbildung notwendig machten und damit später auch zur Lernfeldkonzeption führten. Anschließend wird die Struktur des Lernfeldkonzeptes vom Handlungsfeld bis hin zur Lernsituation aufgezeigt und die Ziele die die Kultusminister Konferenz (KMK) damit verfolgt, näher erläutert. Im weiteren Verlauf werden Stärken des Lernfeldkonzeptes gegenüber der bisher vorherrschenden Fächersystematik herausgestellt um dann im nächsten Kapitel auf die Schwächen der Lernfeldkonze
