About the Author: Mari Carmen Romero is a writer from Spain who loves nineteenth century literature and more contemporary works. She likes, when she has spare time, to imagine stories with humor, if that is possible in this world. Among her favorite writers, you will find Greene, Austen, Conrad, Pardo Bazán, Hornby, Gaskell, Flaubert, Pérez Reverte, Stella Gibbons, Trollope, Eliot, Pratchett, and many others. She was a finalist in 2010's II Fantastic Story Contest of Fancine. She has also written nonfiction works about Jane Austen, like "La Historia de los Austenitas" (The History of the Spanish speaking Janeites), which tells about the writer and her impact among Spanish speakers, or "A la señorita Austen," a collaboration for the Persuasions journal, edited by the Jane Austen Society of North America. ______________________________________________________________________________ Mari Carmen Romero es una autora española a la que le encanta la literatura del siglo XIX y otras obras más contemporáneas.
