Als eine der Hauptursachen werden immer wieder die mangelnde sprachliche Kompetenz in der Schulsprache und die damit verbundene unzureichende Nutzbarkeit von unterschiedlichen Lernangeboten aufgezeigt."" (Steinbach 2009: 9) Die Probleme fangen schon mit der Einschulung an und reichen von der Zurückweisung in die Kitas bis zur Expedierung in die Sonderklassen. Dies ist nicht die gesamte Bandbreite der Probleme, auch die Selektionsentscheidungen sind es, die den Lebensweg von Kindern mit Migrationshintergrund erheblich beeinflussen. Im deutschen Bildungssystem bilden die türkischen Schüler(inne)n den größten Anteil unter den Migrantenkindern und nehmen besonders die ungünstigen Positionen im Schulsystem ein. Sie haben die meisten schulischen Probleme, erleben mehr Bildungsbenachteiligungen und werden aufgrund ihrer religiösen und kulturellen Andersartigkeit von der deutschen Gesellschaft oft als fremd charakterisiert (vgl. Arnold-Rösner 1986: 52; Boos-Nüning: 62). Der Fokus dieser Arbeit richtet sich primär auf die Darstellung der Bildungsproblematik der türkischen Kinder und Jugendlichen mit Migrationshintergrund im deutschen Schul- und Bildungssystem. Dabei sollen einerseits die Sozialisationsbedingungen innerhalb der Familie wie Erziehungsziele, Elterngeneration sowie andererseits die ökonomische und soziale Lage untersucht werden. Der Arbeit liegt die zentrale These zugrunde, dass Kinder und Jugendliche mit türkischem Migrationshintergrund institutionellen sowie soziokulturellen Benachteiligungen unterliegen, welche
