About the Book

The God, Lumiere creates two worlds in different universes. One is a reality where no humans exist, but creatures seen in religion, legends and lore do live called Wintertraum. Fate and destiny are Gods and Sorrow, the God of Shadows. Lucifer is not a fallen Angel, but a dark creation of Lumiere's. Angels are mated in that reality and Helena is Lucifer's. The aphotic Angels created most life on Wintertraum to please their creator, who was unconcerned with this world. The King of Perdition was jealous of Lumiere's pride in Gabriel. Lucifer's hatred of the Archangel brought the death of Gabriel and the exile of his mate, Lilith. Lucifer now obsesses about the destruction of their son, Michael. After all life on Wintertraum is created, Lumiere betrays the Dark Angels and moves on to the second world to bring forth a son.

Lucifer's hatred deepens and with the help of Sorrow, a beast is created within Lucifer to defy the rules set forth by Lumiere. Lucifer uses his gift to infect the bloodline of the human mother of Lumiere's son creating monsters to destroy Michael. Lucifer held great power, but one Angel could not harm another. Lucifer's grand plan involved these human children of the Blessed Mother's decedents to be created through incest. Lucifer found this most pleasing. The mental and physical abuse of the men in Helena's life sets the Queen of Perdition on a path Fate has requested she take. A road that will lead to an old acquaintance and eventually, old friends. The other realm is Fruhlingstraum, the world of humans.

A nineteen-year-old woman, Sonja, trying to find her purpose in life unwillingly journeys to Wintertraum. Lucifer takes her there as his new weapon against Michael. Being a woman with a great acceptance of the things she has experienced in her short life and being strong of mind and body, it is not so easy for the Dark King to bend her to his will. With the help of a humanoid wolf, goblin and living doll, Sonja will attempt to take a different path than Lucifer has planned.

Sonja and Helena's journeys will create friendships that are as deep as a family's love, which includes the pain that comes with it. Sonja's will be the family she never really had. Helena's will be a sisterhood consisting of a witch, old acquaintance, and Mother Nature. Alliances will be formed, and an army raised. Michael, a humanoid lion, humanoid panther, and a minotaur will do their part. The insanity of the war against Michael will finally find its end, but will it be life that will prevail or the end of all creation? There is something darker out there that feels Lucifer's anger and the hunger of the beast within him. Evil that wants to infect; bringing rot until all existence falls into decay.
