This is where people want a description of the book, right? Alright, well, here goes.
My name's Finn, and my life turned upside down the day I turned fifteen. Why? Because it turns out I'm from not entirely human, and maybe that sounds cool, but it comes with plenty of downsides, trust me. Like death, for one. And hunters coming after you with swords, and oh yeah, in my case, not being able to touch anyone without killing them. So that's all been fun.
I'm not alone, though. My best friend Brendon came along for the ride (he says hi). I lost people I cared about, but I gained some too. There are others like me to help me through my emotional struggles, of which there have been plenty (my bad). Only one who has the same no-touching-anyone-or-they-die problem, but turns out, one is enough.
Anyway, a lot has happened since I turned fifteen. I've traveled to another world, fought lots of bad people, made new friends, caused a lot of property damage, even had my first kiss. And there's still a lot at stake in the war we're fighting. So I'm publishing this to get my story out there. To set the record straight about what really happened - not what happened according to the news. And to make you aware of what's happening, because ordinary people like you, well, they could make a difference. Brendon sure does, with his charm and wit and stellar abilities (sorry you had to read that with your own two eyes - I lost a bet and had to include it. You're welcome, Brendon).
