About the Book

David was young, innately intelligent, charming, well dressed and filthy rich. He frequented posh clubs and hotels, owned posh houses, luxury cars, and anything anyone had a craving for. Women desired to be with him and men wanted to be like him. He was the Don of Hartford, Connecticut. A rogue, but a respected guy in the streets who had the money and power to demand that respect. He and his men were the objects of fear, they had a resolve to kill without mercy in order protect their own interests. The Don had come a far cry from the boy he was. Raised in Atlanta, Georgia by his grandmother, together with his two sisters, he was taught to be good and god-fearing. The gentle boy's life began to change abruptly when he, his sisters and his mother moved to Hartford, Connecticut to reunite with his stepfather and other siblings. Not only was he living with a stepfather who was an alcoholic and wife-beater, he also lived in a town where crime and belligerence ruled. Soon he surrounded himself with friends who, in one way or another, spent time in juvenile detention. Then one night he met his first Don. The don supplied the highest quality drugs known to the streets of Stowe Village, business was booming. David realized that he wanted to be the Don and to do that he would have to get rid of the reigning Don. In no time, he becomes the object of vengeance and hatred from the Under Lords of New York. What will David give up to achieve his dreams?
About the Author: Hello my name is Randy L. Cochran. I was born in Hartford Connecticut and I went to Weaver High School were I played football and baseball. I also boxed for the Stowe Village Boxing Club in Hartford Connecticut. One of my best friends is a retired professional boxer and a New England champion by the name of John Skully A.K.A. Ice Man. I enjoy reading and writing and when I was in school I was good at writing short stories. What inspired me to write was reading a lot of Steven King and Jackie Collin books. Living the street life I saw a lot of events in my life, some good and some bad. But by the grace of God I made it out of the streets a solider and every solider has a story to tell. So sit back and enjoy the stories of a solider out Hartford Connecticut.
