About the Book

Has your heart been broken by grief or rejection?

Or paralyzed by pain, abuse, abandonment, guilt and shame?

Or your innocence destroyed?

Or your dreams postponed-to oblivion?

Have you cried to God for change-to change...but how?

Do you know what it is to struggle and fight?

Have you ever experienced victory and joy...after tears of

disappointment, after painful, sleepless nights?

Well, if you answered YES to any of these questions then FROM

THE HEART Poetry birthed from the altar of life is the book your

heart and soul has been yearning for!

FROM THE HEART Poetry birthed from the altar of life is a

collection of poetry written by a Christian, black, single mother,

urban educator who experienced a gamut of emotions throughout

her wonderful but sometimes tragic life. Through her journey

she discovered the One who caused her to triumph-even-in-failure

and overcome obstacles and abuse. She discovered the One

who liberated her from the pits of disaster, depression, despair,

disgust and disappointment-The Lord Jesus Christ-her savior,

confidant and friend.

FROM THE HEART provides a timely message of hope and

healing to every man, woman, child, believer, agnostic or atheist

who dares to read this book. So, whether your life is mundane or

tumultuous FROM THE HEART Poetry birthed from the altar of

life is the book for you!
