About the Author: Pamela Roberts is a Certified Executive Chef and Certified Culinary Educator through the American Culinary Federation. She teaches professional cooking and food safety at Central Piedmont Community College. She does restaurant consulting to small to mid-sized restaurants, increasing efficiency, ticket times, staff training for front and back of the house, menu analysis, contribution margins and cost controls while maintaining high standards of sanitation, nutritional quality and flavor. She has over 30 years of experience in the restaurant industry, holding nearly every position, including owner of her dream café. She is the host of her own cooking show, Charlotte Cooks, on WTVI PBS-Charlotte. Charlotte Cooks can be viewed on You Tube for those out of the regional PBS area and within the City of Charlotte, on Channel 17. She makes regular appearances on local TV and radio talk shows promoting healthy eating and lifestyles. Roberts is the author of Healthy & Hydrated - The Key to Vibrant Living due out in early June 2016. Chef Roberts conducts workshops teaching people how to incorporate high hydrating foods into their diets. She also conducts popular workshops on making all natural body care products for personal use.
