This compendium contains three workbooks. They supplement A Healing System. Use them for implementation and training. The workbooks are: Implementation, Arthritis and Quiz. Users of these workbooks should first read and understand the contents of A Healing System.
A description of each workbook is provided below.
IMPLEMENTATION WORKBOOK
This workbook provides readers with a detailed, step by step, method of converting from the Standard American Diet of ill-health to a healthy lifestyle. The process is not trivial, and readers are encouraged to understand the tasks and mental considerations.
I wrote this workbook as a companion to 'A Healing System' so readers could understand what might be expected during the conversion process. I realize that one system will not necessarily work for everyone. To find a transition method that works best for you, take this workbook as a starting point. Consult with your support group. Decide what to change, when to change it, and what you will do if the process becomes uncomfortable. Although tastes do change, they do not change quickly. Be patient with yourself. A false start is not the end of the world. Persistence breeds success.
ARTHRITIS WORKBOOK
This workbook presents implementation detail for a dietary and exercise system that can potentially prevent and reverse arthritis. It is a subset of the full system presented in the book A Healing System.
What's presented is a system that is working for myself and others. The Standard American Diet is generally an acid diet that seems to support the arthritic condition. This workbook focuses on reversing that condition, but may also have a positive effect on other metabolic acidosis ailments like gallbladder, duodenal ulcers, osteoporosis, kidney infections, stiff joints, and more.
QUIZ WORKBOOK
This workbook is a companion to 'A Healing System', providing educators and readers a way to test their knowledge of health related topics. It can also facilitate the training of other students. It provides groups of questions that will test ones knowledge of topics like diet, exercise, hydration, GMOs, gut flora, the timing of exercise with meals, and more.
Space has been made available in the workbook for hand-written answers to the questions. Or you can copy the pages of interest and write your answers on the photocopies.
My intent was to create an open-book test, but suggest that you answer as many questions as possible before going to the source.
