About the Book

A group of serial killers have begun a scavenger hunt for teenage cheerleaders, putting their severed heads up for auction, while the surviving cheerleaders try to find the serial killers and end the terror.Serial killers SAVAGE, COWBOY, DOC, and AMAZON are on a scavenger hunt. Whenever they kill a victim, they retain some trophies, such as a head, and then put the item up for auction on a members only website for serial killers. Michael is a police detective, whose supervisor is Kilpatrick. Michael is in charge of the string of homicides, which seem to be targeting young women, specifically, cheerleaders. FBI Agent Jessica is brought into assist on the investigation. Sarah is the Crime Scene Investigator, who attempts to identify similarities between the killings. In the middle of the killings, Ashleigh, a cheerleader, and her boyfriend, Seth are preparing for the Halloween dance. In the shadows, the Janitor watches the teenagers and appears to fit the description of SAVAGE. A handsome teacher, Mister Carlson has begun a discussion on the analysis of serial killers, detailing their motives and their lifestyles. One by one, cheerleaders continue to be killed, with their body parts and clothing put up for auction. Michael gets a break, when the postal service intercepts a package, containing a head. Just when it appears that Mister Carlson is one of the serial killers, he's killed, with Michael and Jessica discovering that instead of just one serial killer, they are now looking at several serial killers. A romance also begins to develop between Michael and Jessica. In a brief moment, Michael sees Jessica working out and makes the off handed comment that she looks like some ancient Amazon warrior. With the death of Mister Carlson, the Principal takes over the classroom discussion of serial killers, but dismisses the findings in the text book by stating that it is erroneous to assert that serial killers are abnormal. The teenagers begin their own investigation, believing that the Janitor is the serial killer, but unknown to the teenagers, the Principal has become identified as one of the serial killers. At the Halloween dance, Kilpatrick assembles Principal, Savage, Jessica, and Ashleigh, preparing to execute them, having identified them as serial killers, with Kilpatrick and Janitor being identified as serial killer hunters.
