Early that morning, as I was looking through this library, in Ibadan, Oluyole Estate, I saw a book with "Kenneth E. Hagin" on it. I was wondering whether he wrote the book or he wrote it alongside other authors, till I found out that the book was written by Roy Hicks who happened to be general supervisor of the Foursquare Church international. Of course, I had heard Kenneth Hagin refer to him a couple of times so I was curious on how and why Brother Hagin would endorse a book like this and would even have his name written right boldly on the book. That was the start of the journey! I read through the book written by Roy Hicks, titled "He who laughs last and last". What a joyful experience!
I read through the book, filled with happiness, laughter and thereby beholding the victory that we have received in Jesus. So also was the emphasis on why believers must be full of joy and also be happy.
Over the years, these truths have not just become part of one's doctrine, what one teaches but how one practises it, seeing the enormous truth about laughter and joy within the pages of the scriptures.
In Luke 10:21, the writer records that, Jesus rejoiced in the spirit; a remarkable moment for His disciples to see their Lord in wild excitement looking through the will and the purpose of God for humanity.
This has motivated us to put this together for believers to understand the riches and the wealth of joy. Why would Paul write to the Philippian church and arguably one of his most mentioned words there are "joy and rejoicing"?
We believe God that, as many believers read through this book, they will not just joyfully find the joy of God, it would become contagious to others as well.
Joy, laughter are critical parts of the Christian life and experience and we believe that many believers will find this book as a guide, an inspiration for this as well in their own experiences.
In Philippians 4:4, Paul instructs clearly "rejoice again I say rejoice". The "again" definitely is an emphasis. Believers must learn to not just rejoice but to again rejoice.
This book will cause you to laugh and laugh and laugh and laugh best in the name of Jesus and it will not just stop with you, we believe it will spread to other believers around you in the name of Jesus.
So, sit back with your mouth filled with faith, your heart with expectation, as you go through this book with your writing materials as well and be blessed as you study.
Don't forget to share the joy.
I remain multidimensionally yours,
