Why is it so important to have your mind renewed and realize that it is done by Gods written Word and by the Holy Ghost that lives and abides inside of you! First of all, when we were born, we were born with natural man's thinking. When we were born, we were born with, no knowledge of God, until someone began to teach you about Jesus Christ; this is the beginning of the knowledge of Him. Then it is up unto you to allow Gods Spirit to deal with your heart, so you can be saved. Then you need to come to the place where you summit yourself unto Gods presence that is dealing with your heart. Then you need to, come to an altar of repentance and begin to pray for the Lord Jesus to forgive you of all of your sins, by the prayer of faith. Then confess WITH YOUR MOUTH, that you are saved and repeat this, "Jesus thank you for forgiving me of all of my sins and coming into my heart and soul, here I am... Show, me how to get my mind renewed, so that I'll always know your perfect and divine will for my life and begin to serve you God with all of my heart, mind and soul." Find you a good Church that has full gospel teachings. Then begin to read Gods written Word, because it is a part of getting your mind renewed, by the teachings, of the Bible. God's written Word is our guide, to knowing God and His divine will for every one of our lives. Without reading the Word of God, how will you know about God or His promises unto you, as a believer, you won't! Begin to put Gods Word in you, to renew your mind, this is one of Gods divine paths of learning things about God, His love toward you and about His spiritual blessings of many that He can lead and guild you into by the ministry of the Holy Ghost in us, this being the reason that God baptizes us in the Holy Ghost, with the evidence of speaking in other tongues PRAYING IN THE SPIRIT. Which many still need to receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost in you, which is done by the power of God, through prayer. By reading Gods Word, the Bible will instruct you, about God and His love towards you and of His many rich blessings that He desires to enrich your life with, this being the beginning to having your mind renewed. However, God also gave us the baptism in the Holy Ghost, to help us, in giving us the revelation, of Jesus Christ, to give us another COMFORTER WHICH IS THE HOLY GHOST. To reveal all hidden secrets, truths, blessings and anything that God desires to open up unto your spiritual understanding, to renew your mind by the revelation that the Holy Ghost reveals or manifests unto you, as a hearer of His Spirit, as He will begin to teach and train you to hear His voice and become led by His Spirit. This is another way of having; your mind renewed yet there is still another way that is over looked by many. God's ministry's that He set in the Church, the fivefold ministry gifts, which are men and women that are fully developed by the Holy Ghost renewing their minds, to teach certain teachings that are anointed of God, for your spiritual perfection and by the tools that God has given them to work with also. Such as books, CDs, DVDs, magazines, tapes, radio and television. That if you will become teachable, God will be able to minister unto you by His Spirit through all of His ways of giving you a spiritual education, to remove spiritual blinders, to give you a renewed mind, as you allow God to teach you many things by His Spirit and His anointed ministers and their tools of ministry that God has given unto His anointed preachers and teachers of the Word of God. To give you a renewed mind, to know many things of God and to experience Gods many rich spiritual blessings that are hidden from our natural thinking, because of being born in flesh, also being the reason that we all need to have our minds renewed, to teach you the very will of God. About the Author: My name is Pastor Luke L. Chapman. I haven't always been a preacher, quite the contrary. When I was a young teenager everyone always said: "Boy what a good kid Luke is. He is a wonderful young man." Because of a stepfather that had no love for me, my clothes were packed for me and placed on the front porch on Christmas morning. Arrangements were already made for a near friend to pick me up to take me to my real dad's home. This became a cycle unto me. I learned soon to take flight in life, realizing I'm on my own. I was kicked out of school for truancy, failure to want to go to school and to learn. This started a foundation for my life, for my ongoing future. My new friends taught me how to smoke, drink, and cuss and to tell lies. I graduated to smoking weed and using cocaine. I never drank or used cocaine on a regular basis. I just started on weekends or invited parties. I got married and had a Child when I was 21 years old. But, with a lifestyle of drinking, spending money in bars and not on bills or in my home, I soon went through a divorce. Does this sound familiar, like today's youths? At this time, now I'm remarried my wife and I are both cocaine addicts. My wife smoked weed? I sold weed and cocaine to supply our habits. My wife left me one day. I was arrested the same day and put in jail. In jail, I bowed my knees on the floor in my cell. I was the only one there that day. I called upon Jesus and was saved and sent to North Central Correctional Institution. I never thought anyone cared. But I was so wrong. What was meant for evil for me, God changed for the good. Prison became My Bible College. Prison was where God counseled me about my morals. God taught me about being a good husband, a good father unto my Children and how a preacher must live and act. I served six and a half years in prison to learn not do use drugs, not to walk through life aimlessly. I learned my lesson. God raised me up to be a preacher in prison. Prison was my lifesaver. Wow, what a statement one might say! The reason prison was my lifeline was I could have graduated to the other side of life... Six Feet Down. I almost did!
