About the Author: L.J. Schneiderman graduated with a BA in English literature from Yale University before earning a MD from Harvard Medical School.
Currently an emeritus professor at the University of California San Diego School of Medicine, where he founded the Family Medicine residency program, Schneiderman was also the founding co-chair of the UCSD Medical Center Ethics Committee.
A recipient of the Pellegrino Medal in medical ethics, Schneiderman has published a number of medical and scientific works, as well as the novel Sea Nymphs by the Hour and various short stories. He has been recognized for both his fiction and plays with the Drama-Logue Award, Beverly Hills Theater Guild Award, Pushcart Award nomination, and more.
Schneiderman lives in Del Mar, California.
