Hausaufgaben sind seit längerem ein Streitpunkt, nicht nur unter Erziehungswissenschaftlern, sondern insbesondere zwischen Lehrern, ihren Schülern und deren Eltern. Bisherige Studien haben zur Untersuchung der Wirksamkeit von Hausaufgaben Schüler in großen Massen befragt, ohne dabei auf die Aufgaben selbst einzugehen. Die vorliegende Studie setzt sich zum Ziel, die unterschiedlichen Sichtweisen einer Lehrkraft und der durch sie unterrichteten Schüler in Bezug auf den Hausaufgabenprozess zu erforschen. Dazu werden auf der Grundlage eines Modells zum Hausaufgabenprozess und unter Berücksichtigung bisheriger Forschungsergebnisse sowie relevanter rechtlicher Bestimmungen Befunde einer empirischen Studie vorgestellt. Für die Untersuchung wurden SchülerInnen einer 8. Klasse im Anschluss an eine Unterrichtssequenz zu ihrer Wahrnehmung der erteilten Hausaufgaben befragt. Diese Ergebnisse werden der Wahrnehmung der unterrichtenden Lehrkraft gegenüber gestellt. Dabei lassen sich eindeutige Widersprüche in der Herangehensweise an den Hausaufgabenprozess feststellen, welche nicht zuletzt den allgemeinen Nutzen von Hausaufgaben erneut infrage stellen.
About the Author: Janine Börstler, M.A., wurde 1987 geboren. Ihr Lehramtsstudium für die Fächer Englisch und Deutsch an der Universität Potsdam schloss die Autorin im Jahre 2012 mit dem akademischen Grad des Master of Education erfolgreich ab. Durch ein erziehungswissenschaftliches Seminar während des Studiums angeregt, reflektierte sie eigene Erfahrungen mit der Hausaufgabenproblematik aus Schul- sowie Studienzeit und wurde sich der Diskrepanz zwischen Schüler- und Lehrerstandpunkt erstmals bewusst. Das vorliegende Buch stellt die Fortführung dieser ersten Überlegungen dar, welche die Autorin zu ihrem eigenen Standpunkt in Bezug auf das Problem Hausaufgaben führte.
