Demnach erleben in der heutigen Gesellschaft bereits Kinder- und Jugendliche physische und psychische Störungen, die ihr Alltagsleben beeinflussen können. Die Stressopfer werden immer jünger und sind bereits in dem Primarbereich zu finden (Hampel 2003, S. 1). Die Folgen von Dauerstress können zu psychosomatischen und funktionellen Krankheiten beitragen, die das Gesundheitssystem und die psychosoziale Entwicklung des heranwachsendes Kindes ungünstig beeinflussen sowie das Erreichen von Lebenszielen behindern kann (Entwicklungspsychologie 2006, S. 1); (Scharf & Rupprecht 2010, S. 5). Dieses Problem wurde seit vielen Jahren nur bei Erwachsenen oder Berufstätigen, wie z.B. Lehrkräften betrachtet und in der Stressforschung untersucht. In dieser Arbeit sollten demzufolge die alltäglichen Vorgänge des Schülers analysiert werden. Lernende erleben immer häufiger Stress müssen ihre Gedanken und das Verhalten ständig regulieren und mit Belastungssituationen umgehen können. Um die kognitiven Prozesse der Schüler genauer zu analysieren bzw. zu verstehen sowie die Arbeitsbelastung und -zufriedenheit in Unterrichtssituationen zu erhellen, wird die Studie von dem Psychologen Grimm, der die kognitive Bewegungslandschaft der Lehrer untersuchte, vorgestellt. Daraufhin wird von der Studierenden Olga Ritter eine qualitative Interviewstudie in drei Grundschulen durchgeführt, die tägliche Stressoren von Schülerinnen und Schülern im Schulleben untersucht und den Zusammenhang zwischen wahrgenommenen Unterrichtsituationen sowie die Schülerzufriedenheit beleuchtet.
