(G. B. Shaw) Langweiliger, trockener und rein auf Lehren von Wissen ausgerichteter Sachunterricht gerät schnell in Vergessenheit. Auch meine Erinnerungen an meine eigene Schulzeit bestätigen dieses Vorurteil. Es waren häufig so genannte "Arbeitsblatt- und Arbeitsbuch-Stunden," die keinen direkten Sinn und Lernzuwachs für mich gebracht haben. Diese Gedanken zum Sachunterricht stelle ich bewusst an den Beginn meiner Hausarbeit. Schlechte Erfahrungen eines lehrhaften, wenig an den Schülerinteressen orientierten, vom Lehrerpult rein auf Lehren ausgerichteten und wenig interessanten Sachunterricht möchte ich den Schülerinnen und Schülern meiner zweiten Klasse ersparen. Aus diesem Grund stellt das Thema dieser Hausarbeit eine besondere Herausforderung für mich dar, denn ich möchte ihnen das Thema "Bauen" aus dem Bereich des technischen Lernens interessant, lernintensiv und handlungsorientiert näher bringen. Bereits der Begriff "handlungsorientiertes Lernen" deutet schon auf eine Zielrichtung, die den Kindern die Gelegenheit eröffnet, selbstständig und aktiv handelnd "zu bauen" und so Einblicke in statisch-konstruktive Sachverhalte zu gewinnen. Zu Beginn der Unterrichtseinheit erarbeiten sich die Kinder zum Beispiel eigenständig, dass Bausteine versetzt angeordnet werden müssen, die oberen Steine also als Gegengewicht fungieren und das Bauwerk dadurch Stabilität erlangt. Dieses und das Wissen aus den anderen Stunden der Einheit sollen sie in folgenden Stunden abrufen und auf andere Bauwerke übertragen. Aus diesem Zusammenhang ergeben sich meine Fragen: 1.
