Die Elektrizitätslehre ist von Natur aus wesentlich unanschaulicher als einige andere Teilgebiete der Physik In der Optik oder der Wärmelehre sind physikalische Vorgänge, im Gegensatz zur Elektrizitätslehre, direkt beobachtbar. Die Brechung des Lichts an einer Glasoberfläche oder das Ausdehnen von Flüssigkeiten bei Erwärmung kann man sehen, das Fließen des Stromes oder den Spannungsabfall an einem Verbraucher ist nur an den Wirkungen zu beobachten. Das Elektrizität nicht direkt sichtbar gemacht werden kann, führt bei den Schülerinnen und Schülern dieser Altersstufe oft zu großen Verständnisschwierigkeiten und als Folge zu mangelnder Motivation für dieses Thema. Auch ich habe in meiner noch nicht allzu lange zurückliegenden eigenen Schulzeit negative Erfahrungen mit dem Themenbereich der Elektrizitätslehre gesammelt. Da es sich in meiner Schulzeit häufig um einen allzu theoretischen Unterricht gehandelt hat, konnte ich mich mit dem Thema nicht anfreunden. Da der Unterricht sich ausschließlich auf Lehrerversuche und die theoretische Behandlung der physikalischen Problemstellungen beschränkte, hatte ich keine Gelegenheit durch selbst geplante, durchgeführte und ausgewertete Versuche eigene physikalische Erfahrungen zu sammeln. Diese Art von Unterricht war für mich damals sehr demotivierend und wäre es für meine Lerngruppe heute mit Sicherheit ebenfalls. In meiner pädagogischen Prüfungsarbeit dokumentiere ich, wie ich den Schülerinnen und Schülern der Jahrgangsstufe 8 einen praktischen, möglichst schülernahen Einstieg in das Thema der Elektrizitätslehre ermöglicht habe. Hierzu habe ich mich für einen Einstieg über einfache Stromkreise entschieden, da sie einen anschaulichen und praktischen Zugang in die Elektrizitätslehre darstellen. Mein Anliegen war es einen Zugang zur Elektrizität
