Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2007 im Fachbereich Pädagogik - Medienpädagogik, Note: 1,3, Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster (Lehreinheit Erziehungswissenschaft), Veranstaltung: Mobile-Learning mit Handheld-Computern und Qualitätsentwicklung in der Schule unter Verwendung der Software und des Konzepts "Forschen mit GrafStat", Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: "Die Forschungs- und Literaturlage im Bereich Neue Medien und Unterricht ist bis in die Gegenwart heterogen und defizitär." (Stadtfeld 2004). Dies gilt insbesondere in Bezug auf den Einsatz von Handhelds im Schulunterricht. Nichtsdestotrotz ist ein zunehmendes Interesse an diesem Thema zu verzeichnen. Evaluationen zeigen bereits, dass der Handheldeinsatz im Schulunterricht von einer überragenden Mehrheit der Lehrer als positiv bewertet wird. Die vorliegende Arbeit geht einen Schritt weiter und beleuchtet den Einsatz von Handhelds aus Schülerperspektive. Exemplarisch werden zwei Unterrichtseinheiten im Fach Geschichte für die gymnasiale Oberstufe erstellt. Der Unterschied zwischen den jeweiligen Einheiten liegt lediglich darin, dass a) Handhelds und b) keine mobilen Endgeräte eingesetzt werden. Mein Anspruch ist nun, dass diese Unterrichtseinheiten auf vergleichender Ebene, unter Berücksichtigung qualitativer Gesichtspunkte guten Unterrichts, ausgewertet werden können. Wenn also beide Unterrichtseinheiten in die Praxis umgesetzt würden, könnte meine GrafStat-gestützte Evaluation (ausgefüllt und ausgewertet) Auskunft darüber geben, ob und inwiefern ein Einsatz von Handhelds (Geschichts-) Unterricht bereichert. Ausgestattet mit diesem Wissen lässt sich Unterrichtsqualität zudem durch differenzierten Einsatz mobiler Endgeräte gezielt verbessern.
