Jayme Blasiman's grandfather, and his profoundly positive impact on her family and friends, is the source and inspiration for her touching memoir, Grandpa's Wisdom. Grandpa has always been there for her, and he loved her when it was too difficult to love herself. Blasiman now wishes to share his infectious joy and happiness with others in the hopes that they learn and benefit from him as well.
Everything always works out. Count your blessings. Be yourself. Speak no evil.
Grandpa's straightforward principles are easy to understand. Blasiman illustrates their wisdom through Grandpa's life story and applies them to her own personal journey toward regaining love and joy. Her story touches on the challenges of her parents' divorce, her own separation, her son's disability, and how Grandpa's wisdom lifted her up and carried her through such difficult times.
Grandpa's Wisdom is for anyone trying to find footing in a world that isn't always kind-and not just survive but thrive-thanks largely to the unconditional love of a treasured family member.
