Google befindet sich einerseits auf einer Suche nach ständig neuen kostenlosen Dienstleistungsangeboten für seinen Nutzer und anderseits weitet es sein Angebot für Unternehmen, kundenorientiert, gezielt und im richtigen Moment ihre Werbung zu schalten, aus. Wer ist der eigentliche Kunde von Google? Im ersten Teil der Hausarbeit soll das Unternehmen Google dargestellt, ein Überblick über die Phase der Entstehung bis zur Gründung gegeben sowie auf die Philosophie des Unternehmens kurz eingegangen werden. Im folgenden Abschnitt mit dem Titel "Das Geschäft mit der Suche" wird das Geschäftsmodell von Google, Inserenten den innovativen Service eines gezielten Marketings anzubieten, näher beleuchtet und auf den Börsengang des Unternehmens, der offen legte, wie profitabel das ehemalige Start- up- Unternehmen geworden war, eingegangen.
