About the Book

This book is poetry about the sky which I look out the windows either early morning hours just before daybreak and think of nothing but poetry and the sky. I see what I see, I feel what I feel writing this book from heart and its beauty which is in poetry form so one can understand it and see it the way I see life all in beautiful words. This is freestyle poetry that I only writer at its best. I notice rain falling or trees or the wind darting and blowing to the gray rain clouds or fair quaint light blue skies and I take all this of nature and place into poems. I really like this book. So this is my newest book of poetry to all my buyers, readers, supporters and fan
About the Author: I am Cheyene Montana Lopez, the author of God's Perfect Sky. I have been a vivid dreamer all my life using my dreams and imaginations to see and feel what I write inspires. One has to believe is that proper key to vision it all. I remember when I looked forward to sunsets nearing or such perfect suns rise in brisk spring mornings early or late summers humid days. Or to tell the stories of old fresh butter cups growing wildly worlds awaits. I'd remember those day when as a boy I could not dare wait to run wild and free barefooted the green grass of pastures of my parents old farm back in Collinsville, Alabama. I often set in the woods mong shades of trees old southern pines and oak trees to watch a leaf softly fall to the grounds only to blow in chases from the gushes of winds blows. Or to watch the birds or them sit on tree limbs singing away in the early daylight hours so hapily. All this I learned wisdoms marks and took what I'd seen of it and put all my heart into words of poetry's power that none other could imagine. Just seeing the beauty of it all the way I see nature, life and world, that's my heart. I grew up in northeastern Alabama on a small farm in Collinsville, Alabama on top of Lookout Mountain. I went to high school at Collinsville High School where I graduated in 1979. I played football there, as a senior I was among the Whose Who where I was the most talented of my senior class. For three years I was voted class favorite. it was there in 1978 as a junior in t he class of English Literature which I discovered I had the talent and feel to write poetry. The power and feel of it, the urge to want to write constantly pulled at me drawing my heart to write. I begin to keep scrabbles of papers with written poems upon it for years. I finally put them into a journal like book format. I learned to type in 1988 on an old electric typewriter which had the self correction ribbon in it. I wrote my first poem titled "Alabama" which won me The Golden Laurete Poet of the year Award in 1988 and was published in a book of poetry anthology from The World Of Poetry in Sacramento, California. Also in 1988 I wrote another poem titled "Crying Eyes" which won me The Honorable Mention Award again with The World Of Poetry in Sacramento, California.
